Infineon’s wafer fabrication facility in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah, is its first wafer fab in Asia and presently employs 2100 staff. Pros: It's a very large corporate entity in semiconductor manufacturing, so job security is pretty solid here. As a Process Engineer in the Kulim plant, I never really worried about sudden layoffs; it feels like a very stable place to work.
