Pros: The team itself is great. Everyone's pretty friendly, especially in the Singapore office. We often help each other out, which is really nice for new Curriculum Developers. There's good camaraderie among the folks working on content.
Cons: Upper management needs to chill a bit. There's a ton of micromanagement, it feels like they don't trust us. It really kills motivation for anyone in an EdTech startup environment. Decision-making is slow because of it.
Advice to Management: Seriously, try trusting your teams more. Let us own our projects and make decisions. Less micromanagement would boost morale and make YouClass a much better place to work for us EdTech professionals.
