Pay is decent, but benefits could improve.

Pros: As a Project Coordinator, my base salary was pretty standard for the Kuala Lumpur office. We usually get an annual bonus, which is nice for people in the engineering projects sector. Basic medical coverage is also provided.
Cons: Raises aren't very frequent, and they're usually small, so pay isn't always competitive. There's not much in terms of advanced benefits like dental or vision, which you'd find at bigger corporate firms. The overall compensation package could be better.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the benefits package to include more comprehensive health options like dental and vision. Consider a more structured approach to annual raises to keep up with industry standards and retain valuable talent in the construction and engineering industry. Show more
