Pros: It's a huge name in construction, so there's always big infrastructure development projects. Job security for a Site Engineer is pretty solid. You learn a lot if you stick it out with the civil engineering teams.
Cons: Leadership in the Kuala Lumpur office can be pretty hands-off, then suddenly micromanaging. It's tough getting clear direction for our civil engineering projects. Seems like they don't really listen to ground staff.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to improve communication and trust their project teams. More clear goal setting and less sudden interference would help retention. Invest in leadership training too.
