This is the official LinkedIn channel of the Carlsberg Group.

The Carlsberg Group was established in 1847 by brewer J.C. Jacobsen. J.C. Jacobsen was a true renaissance man. A believer in quality, research and serving the community, he shared his knowledge with fellow brewers. He looked to the future, prizing long-term growth over short-term gain. Honouring his believes, the Carlsberg Foundation remains a significant shareholder to this day.

Today, Carlsberg Group is one of the leading beverage companies in the world, with a large portfolio of beer, soft drinks and other beverage brands.

Our portfolio spans mainstream beer brands, including local power brands, international and local premium beer brands and alcohol-free brews. In addition, we have an attractive portfolio of soft drinks, both our own brands as well as brands we produce on license.

Our brands are enjoyed in more than 150 markets globally, with our own operations covering our three regions – Western Europe, Asia and Central & Eastern Europe and India – where we hold a number 1 or 2 position in beer in 25 markets and eight markets in soft drinks.

We strive to brew better beers and deliver products that stand at the heart of moments that bring people together. We are brewing for a better today and tomorrow by doing business responsibly and sustainably, delivering value for our shareholders and society at large.

Pay is okay, benefits could be better.
Pros: The base salary for a Junior Marketing Specialist in the Copenhagen office is solid. I also appreciated the pension scheme; it's pretty standard for a global company like this. You get good healthcare coverage too.
Cons: I think the annual bonuses aren't very generous. Raises felt small year-over-year. Other companies in the FMCG sector offer better perks or stock options.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the annual bonus structure and expanding benefits for mid-level marketing roles to stay competitive.

Okay Flexibility, But Room to Improve
Pros: Some teams really embraced hybrid work, which was great. As a Supply Chain Analyst, I appreciated having a few days a week to work from home when my tasks allowed. It's good for a big corporate environment in the beverage industry.
Cons: Other managers are pretty strict about onsite work, even if there's no real reason for it. Full remote isn't really an option for most roles. It felt a bit old-school sometimes regarding work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Encourage more consistent hybrid work policies across all departments. Modernize the approach to work arrangements; it would really help with employee morale and attraction, especially for specialized roles.

Solid culture, but sometimes a bit slow
Pros: I liked the team environment; everyone's pretty supportive, especially for new hires in marketing roles. There's a strong sense of pride in the brand, which is cool in the beverage industry.
Cons: Things can move really slowly, which is tough when you're trying to push new brand strategy ideas. Sometimes it feels like decisions get stuck in too many layers, typical for a large corporate setting.
Advice to Management: Try to speed up decision-making processes. Empower teams more to innovate without so much red tape.
