Pros: The health benefits are really solid here, covers a lot for the family. As a Process Engineer, the 401k match is also pretty decent, which helps a lot for retirement savings. For a global manufacturing company in Leoben, Austria, the core package isn't bad.
Cons: But honestly, the base salary for my role isn't competitive, especially in semiconductor manufacturing. Raises are usually pretty small each year, barely keeping up with inflation. It's tough to negotiate higher pay when you first join.
Advice to Management: Review salary bands for key engineering roles like Process Engineer to stay competitive in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Better pay would help attract and retain top talent.

Pros: For a Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry, the base salary is competitive, which is a plus. There's a yearly bonus that's usually pretty decent if the company does well. The health insurance package is okay too.
Cons: The actual pay raises aren't that frequent, or they're pretty small yearly. It feels like you have to really fight for a good bump. The benefits outside of health insurance, like retirement matching, aren't super generous when you compare to other corporate places.
Advice to Management: Look into offering more competitive retirement benefits. Also, make the salary review process more transparent for employees, especially for long-term staff.

Pros: You really learn a lot about advanced PCB technology and IC substrates here. The team in the Ansan, South Korea facility is mostly good. You get solid pay for the semiconductor industry.
Cons: Work-life balance is pretty bad for Process Engineer roles. Expect lots of overtime, including weekends. There's almost no work-from-home flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to reduce the reliance on overtime, especially for Process Engineer teams. More focus on staffing could help improve work-life balance across the board.
