Stable Job, Good Team, But A Bit Traditional
Pros: The team in the UK office is genuinely supportive and friendly; it makes a huge difference day-to-day. There's a decent sense of community for sales roles, and it's a very stable corporate environment in the office supplies industry.
Cons: Sometimes the company culture can feel a bit traditional and slow to change, which might not suit everyone looking for fast-paced innovation. Decision-making for B2B sales strategies can take a while.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more modern approaches to problem-solving and be quicker to adopt new technologies. Embrace more agile ways of working across all departments, not just sales and distribution.

Work-life balance is okay, but it's a grind
Pros: They offer a decent hybrid model in the London office, which is a plus for work-life balance. As an Account Manager, I can usually manage my client visits to avoid super late nights. The core hours aren't too strict, helping with personal appointments.
Cons: It's a large corporate environment, so there's always pressure to hit sales targets in B2B distribution. Sometimes you're doing 50-hour weeks, especially nearing quarter-end, which impacts personal time. While there's flexibility, the sheer volume of work means you're often tied to your laptop even after hours.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really look at the workload expectations for sales roles. Realistic targets would go a long way in improving employee well-being.

Okay flexibility, but not for everyone.
Pros: There's a decent hybrid work policy for some corporate roles, especially if you're in the Telford, UK office. I've seen some team leads offer compressed work weeks which is a nice perk for administrative roles if your manager is flexible.
Cons: It's pretty tough to get full remote options if you're not in a specific tech job, especially for us in B2B sales support. The core hours are strict and it's mostly onsite work, making it hard to manage personal appointments.
Advice to Management: Consider expanding true remote work options beyond specific departments and empower managers more for flexible scheduling, especially for the Telford, UK office staff. It would really help with employee retention.
