Pros: You get good exposure to large-scale property development projects, which is great for learning if you're new to the real estate sector. The company itself is very stable, being a big Malaysian conglomerate. Plus, the Kuala Lumpur office environment is generally pretty solid.
Cons: Leadership can be a major challenge here, especially regarding clear communication. As a Junior Project Coordinator, I often felt a lack of consistent direction from senior management. This makes planning and execution for construction projects way tougher than it needs to be.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving internal communication from the top down. Give clearer strategic direction so teams, especially for real estate development roles, can work more efficiently. Empower mid-level managers to make decisions.
