Pros: Some teams here definitely have better work flexibility. As a Logistics Coordinator, I could occasionally shift my start time if I had an appointment. That was a decent perk for my daily routine.
Cons: True remote work is basically non-existent, especially for most roles in the Chicago office. It's a very onsite culture, so don't expect a hybrid work model here. Getting approval for even minor schedule shifts was a real headache.
Advice to Management: Reconsider the strict onsite policy for roles that don't absolutely require it. A hybrid work model would really help retention, especially for the younger talent. Trust your employees a bit more.
