Decent spot for new Software Engineers
Pros: You get good exposure to different projects, especially in telecommunications infrastructure. The team is collaborative, and they do try to offer a hybrid model sometimes, which helps with the commute. My colleagues are super supportive.
Cons: Work-life balance can be a real struggle, especially when project deadlines hit hard. As a Software Engineer, I often found myself working extra hours in the Kuala Lumpur office. It's tough to disconnect completely, even with the hybrid option.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better project planning to ease the crunch times. It would help a lot with employee burnout and improving overall work-life balance for all IT roles.
