Great Flexibility for Remote Teaching Roles
Pros: The WFH policy is solid here, especially as a Software Engineer Instructor. I could mostly set my own schedule for teaching sessions. Being remote from Los Angeles worked out great for my personal life.
Cons: Sometimes the communication across different remote teams could be a bit disjointed. It's a smaller company, so processes aren't always super clear for non-teaching roles within this coding bootcamp.
Advice to Management: Try to streamline communication tools and set clearer expectations for async work across all remote roles.

Good for entry-level, but growth is flat.
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I got solid experience in modern software development tools. It's a pretty flexible remote environment, which is nice. Good place to learn the ropes initially.
Cons: Career growth felt really stalled after a year or so. There isn't a clear path for advancement in this tech startup. Mentorship is almost nonexistent for moving into senior roles.
Advice to Management: Management needs to invest more in structured career paths and mentorship programs for their engineers. Show people how to grow within the company.

Career growth is pretty slow for data roles
Pros: The work flexibility is great; being fully remote helps a lot with my work-life balance. I've definitely picked up some solid skills working with specific cloud platforms in the data analytics industry.
Cons: Career progression is a huge challenge. As a Data Analyst, there just aren't clear pathways to senior positions. It feels like they don't really invest in developing their people, especially for junior data roles.
Advice to Management: Please create more defined career paths for technical roles. Investing in employee development would boost morale and retention.
