Decent Starter Job, Lacks Long-Term Security

Pros: Working as a Retail Associate here, it's pretty straightforward. You learn the ropes of the greeting card industry quickly, and the daily tasks aren't too stressful. It's a fine place for someone new to the workforce to gain some experience.
Cons: Job security is a real concern in this mid-sized retail environment. Hours can be cut suddenly, and it feels like promotions or real career progression are very rare. The onsite work means you don't have much flexibility either.
Advice to Management: Focus on making employees feel more valued and secure in their positions. Clearer paths for career growth and more consistent hours would make a big difference for staff retention. Show more
