Pros: It's a stable company in the agricultural industry. The team's generally supportive, and you get to be outdoors a lot, which is nice.
Cons: As a Field Agronomist, there's basically no work from home. Expect long, unpredictable hours during planting and harvest season, which makes personal planning tough. It's an onsite role, no real hybrid options.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible scheduling or comp time for the long hours, especially for field staff. Better tech for remote check-ins could help too.

Pros: As a Field Agronomist, I did learn a lot about crop management. There's good hands-on experience in the agricultural sector. You get to work directly with growers.
Cons: Upward mobility is really tough for Field Agronomist roles. There aren't many clear paths to advance here. The professional development budget is pretty small, too.
Advice to Management: Management should create more defined career progression plans. Investing in employee training and development would really help people stay longer. A clearer path for Field Agronomists would be great.

Pros: The team here in the Fresno office is pretty solid, and you learn a ton about the agriculture industry. It's a stable, family-owned business, which is nice for job security.
Cons: Work-life balance is a real challenge as an Agronomist. We often work super long hours, especially during planting and harvest seasons, which is common for onsite roles. There's not much flexibility when you're out in the field.
Advice to Management: Try to hire more field staff during peak seasons. Better manage expectations for Agronomists regarding after-hours work.
