Our company services include working drawings, concept development, preliminary space planning, construction documents and final installations. Our clients portfolio consists of merchandise retail, fashion retail, F&B outlets and many more.

Decent Flexibility, But Inconsistent for Design Roles

Pros: Work flexibility here is okay if your direct manager is understanding. I could usually do hybrid work, coming into the office 3 days a week, which was nice for my commute. It made personal appointments easier to juggle as a Junior Graphic Designer.
Cons: It's not consistent, though. Some teams in the Kuala Lumpur office have stricter onsite requirements, even when it's not really necessary for design projects. This means sometimes I'm stuck commuting when I could be more efficient working remotely, which can be annoying.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid work policy across all departments instead of leaving it to individual managers. This would make things fairer and improve morale for everyone in the creative industry. Show more

Decent Stability, But Project Flow Varies

Pros: The company generally has a steady pipeline of architectural design projects. As a Junior Architect, I felt pretty secure in my role here. They don't have huge layoffs often, which is a plus for a mid-sized firm in Kuala Lumpur.
Cons: Project starts can be unpredictable sometimes. This means some weeks you're swamped, other weeks less busy. It makes long-term planning a bit tough, even if your job isn't directly at risk.
Advice to Management: Try to smooth out the project allocation for the design teams. More consistent work helps everyone stay motivated. Show more

Pay is okay for KL, but benefits could improve

Pros: As a Junior Designer, the starting salary is decent for the Kuala Lumpur office. You get pretty good medical coverage, which is a real plus here. There's also an annual bonus if the company meets its targets.
Cons: Don't expect frequent salary raises, even with good performance reviews. The overall benefits package feels a bit basic for a mid-sized firm. It's tough to get any flexibility on pay negotiation when you join.
