Native is a social enterprise based in Malaysia that works with the Orang Asli, our local indigenous people, to co-create community based ventures. We do this with the vision of creating more meaningful livelihoods for the community while growing their cultural confidence.

Pros: Some managers are genuinely supportive, especially in the product development teams. They really encourage new ideas for our discovery platform features. I liked having direct access to senior engineers for guidance.
Cons: The executive leadership can feel really out of touch with the day-to-day. There's a lack of clear strategy changes communicated for us remote Software Engineer staff. Decisions often come down without much explanation.
Advice to Management: Work on making leadership communication more transparent, especially for the remote teams. Be more consistent with strategic direction. Engage more with the actual engineers.
