Pros: I liked the hybrid work model in the Austin, TX office. It gave me some flexibility to manage personal appointments. For an Account Manager role, the base salary and benefits were pretty solid for a SaaS tech company.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially when client demands spike. It's not uncommon to work 50+ hour weeks in client management. It feels like management could do more to evenly distribute the workload among the Account Managers.
Advice to Management: Really look at Account Manager workloads and try to distribute them more evenly to prevent burnout. Encourage teams to genuinely disconnect after hours; the culture needs to support work-life balance, not just talk about it.
