Pros: The hybrid work model is a pretty decent step for a large corporate environment like Volvo Construction Equipment. For some roles, you can get a few work from home days each week. It's definitely nice to avoid the daily commute to the Shippensburg, PA office.
Cons: Flexibility can really depend on your direct manager and specific team's needs. As a Product Manager, I've found it tough to truly leverage the hybrid setup sometimes when I need to be onsite for heavy equipment discussions or testing new construction machinery. It's not always as flexible as initially advertised.
