Good WFH policy, but client demands are tough
Pros: You get a hybrid work option, which is great. I could work remote from New York a few days a week. It helps manage personal appointments easily.
Cons: But for some executive search roles, you're on call late. Client demands can make true flexibility hard. Sometimes it felt like a corporate environment with startup hours.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries with clients about off-hours communications. It would help a lot with employee burnout.

Solid Hybrid Work for a Staffing Agency
Pros: I liked the hybrid work schedule; it's 3 days in the New York, NY office and 2 days remote. This flexibility really helps with personal appointments. For a staffing agency, that's pretty solid.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility shifts based on project demands, especially for big client pitches. It can be tough to plan around last-minute requests to come onsite. I wish the remote days were more consistent.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to the agreed-upon hybrid schedule more strictly. Consistency in work flexibility would really boost morale across all recruitment consultant roles.

Pretty flexible for a recruitment agency
Pros: I love that I can work remote from home as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. It's good to have flexible hours for appointments or family stuff. This is a big deal in the busy executive search industry.
Cons: Even with the remote setup, you're expected to be available for long hours. It's not always easy to truly unplug, which makes work-life balance tough. Formalized policies for flexible work beyond just 'remote' could be better.
Advice to Management: Really formalize the flexible work policies beyond just letting people work remote. Support a true work-life balance, especially for those in client-facing recruitment roles. Help managers set clearer boundaries.

Okay for a recruitment agency, but not super flexible.
Pros: I liked the team in the Chicago office; everyone was pretty supportive. We got solid exposure to high-level executive search roles, which is good for career growth in the recruitment industry. The commission structure was decent if you hit targets.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't great, honestly. It's mostly onsite, so WFH days are rare for Recruitment Consultants. Expect longer hours during peak times, definitely not a strict 40-hour week. Sometimes the micromanagement makes it tough.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more hybrid options, especially for long-term employees. A bit more trust with work arrangements could boost morale for the talent acquisition teams.
