Hybrid Model Coming Along, Still Room to Grow
Pros: They've introduced a hybrid work model recently, which is a step in the right direction for a large financial institution. You can get a couple of work-from-home days a week if your team allows, which helps sometimes.
Cons: For client-facing roles like mine as a Client Services Associate, true flexibility is still really hard to come by. Most of the time, you're expected to be in the Kuala Lumpur office. Getting approval for fully remote work in this investment management industry is nearly impossible here.
Advice to Management: Keep pushing for more flexibility, especially for roles that don't need constant onsite presence. Trust your employees more to manage their own schedules.

Decent for experience, but growth is slow
Pros: You'll learn a lot about the financial services industry here. It's a solid place for entry-level Investment Analyst roles to get their foot in the door. The Kuala Lumpur office is pretty central, which is convenient.
Cons: Career growth is tough. There isn't much room to move up, especially for mid-level folks. You can get stuck in the same role for a long time.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer progression paths and offer more internal training for career development. This would help retain talent.
