Company Overview

History Since 1987, MajuHome has been providing our customer with the opportunity to get all-around furniture at one place, one stop. Today we operate more than 210,000 sqft of retail space, under more than 10 outlets under various brand and format. It all started as a concept, offering our value customer to experience wide range of furniture with different design and style in a ‘Gigantic display house’. In fact, we are humble and fortunate to be one of the first to achieve this in Kuala Lumpur. At MajuHome, good quality with affordable price and diversity mean the world to us.

Our passion for keeping promises to all our stakeholders has since take us to the summit, but it is the stubbornness of keeping ourselves at the highest standard sets us apart. We sourced our products from all part of the world especially Malaysia. We have been a believer for local furniture industry from the beginning because we strongly believe building a concrete relationship with local manufacturers guarantees the quality. In fact, Malaysia furniture is always well-known for its quality and durability throughout the world. In our showroom, innovative display concept and showcase allow us to translate customers ‘dream house’ into reality at one stop. It is an ever-evolving process and we are always exploring for creative and innovative ideas to bring the best out of our products; and for our customer. We got it right in 1987 and, as MajuHome has proved, good quality things will endure decade after decade.

Okay for a start, but don't expect big bucks
Pros: The basic salary is okay for an entry-level position. You do get a small commission structure for retail sales, which helps if you're good at hitting targets. It's a stable company within the local furniture industry.
Cons: The commission structure isn't very competitive, especially when sales are slow. There aren't many benefits beyond statutory requirements; don't expect comprehensive health insurance. Pay raise opportunities for Sales Associate roles are pretty minimal.
Advice to Management: Review the commission structure to make it more attractive for Sales Associates. Consider adding better health benefits to help retain talent and stay competitive in the home furnishings market.
