Hybrid Model Needs More Trust, Less Office Time
Pros: I've learned a lot about agile development here. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is really supportive. We get decent exposure to new projects and the overall software development lifecycle.
Cons: The hybrid model isn't very flexible for tech roles. It's often three days in the office, even when there's no real need to be onsite for a Software Engineer. This makes work-life balance tough.
Advice to Management: Really consider offering more remote work options. Trust your Software Engineers to get their work done from home. The strict onsite policy feels a bit outdated. Show more
