Pros: My team was really good, felt like we were all in it together. As a Compliance Analyst, I got solid support from my direct peers here in the Kuala Lumpur office. That made hitting deadlines way less stressful.
Cons: The company culture can feel pretty old-school and hierarchical. There isn't much opportunity for fresh ideas from junior folks working in the regulatory compliance industry. It often felt like my voice didn't matter to leadership.
Advice to Management: Try to involve all levels of staff in decision-making. Encourage new ideas, especially from those on the ground. This would improve morale and innovation.
