Tough to move up for resort staff
Pros: I've gained a ton of hands-on experience in the hospitality industry here. There's good onsite training for new hires, which helps you learn the ropes fast. It's a solid place to start your career in the tourism sector.
Cons: Career growth for roles like Guest Relations Officer feels really slow. There aren't many clear paths to promotion, especially for someone in an onsite position. It's tough to see how you move beyond your current role without a long wait.
Advice to Management: Management should create more structured career development programs and make promotion criteria clearer, especially for G.O.s at the resorts. Give people better visibility on how they can advance.
