Cons: Salary growth is slow, even for those of us with a few years in digital forensics. You don't see big raises often. Overtime isn't always paid out, sometimes it's just comp time. The overall pay and benefit package isn't competitive for senior cybersecurity investigations roles.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer salary progression paths, especially for experienced Forensic Analysts. Transparency on overtime compensation would also go a long way in improving morale and retaining talent in digital forensics.
