Okay on research, but work-life can be tough
Pros: I've learned a ton working on cutting-edge nanotechnology projects here. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is super supportive, which helps a lot when deadlines are tight. They do offer some flexibility for personal appointments, which is a plus.
Cons: The work-life balance can be really challenging, especially when we're pushing hard on new projects. As a Research Engineer, it's common to put in 50+ hour weeks. There's a lot of pressure to deliver, often eating into evenings and weekends.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better resource planning for all the nanotechnology projects. It would help prevent burnout among the engineering team and improve overall morale here. Show more
