Pros: The team camaraderie among the front-of-house staff is usually really solid. We help each other out during busy shifts, which is key in the restaurant industry. For servers, there's a good energy when the place is packed, and the customer interactions are generally positive.
Cons: The management style can be pretty inconsistent; sometimes it feels like there's not a clear direction. There's a lot of pressure, especially during weekend dinner service, and it makes the work environment tense. It's tough to maintain good work-life balance here.
Advice to Management: Focus on consistent communication with the staff, especially concerning scheduling and expectations. Acknowledging the high-stress environment and providing better support for the onsite team would go a long way in improving morale and retention in this competitive hospitality market.
