Pros: The mission to help students find jobs is really rewarding. It's a solid place for new Career Advisors to learn the ropes in the education industry. The team members are genuinely supportive of each other.
Cons: Leadership doesn't really understand day-to-day operations for us. There's a lot of micromanagement, especially in the Washington D.C. office. It makes it tough to innovate or feel trusted.
Advice to Management: You need to trust your teams more. Listen to the feedback from us on the ground, especially for those in client-facing career counseling roles. Give us autonomy to do our jobs effectively.
