Pros: I learned a lot about the coffee shop industry and making specialty drinks. The team was generally really supportive, which helped get through busy shifts. It's a stable, family-owned business, so job security felt decent.
Cons: Work-life balance as a Barista here was tough; I often worked 40+ hours a week, and shifts could be all over the place. Getting consistent schedules was a challenge, making personal planning difficult. There's not much flexibility for onsite roles, which is typical for food service but still a con.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more consistent scheduling for your Barista teams. It would really help with employee morale and retention in the coffee shop industry.
