Pros: They have pretty consistent shifts. As a server, you always know your schedule ahead of time, which can be okay for planning. It's stable for restaurant staff.
Cons: It's super hard to swap shifts or get last-minute time off. There's almost no work flexibility if something comes up. This impacts my work-life balance in the hospitality industry.
Advice to Management: Management should really consider being more understanding about shift changes. It would help a lot with employee morale and retention for front-of-house staff.
