Pros: The base salary for a Data Analyst was pretty competitive, especially when I started. They're generally good about paying on time. For a mid-sized company in Kuala Lumpur, it's not the worst compensation package.
Cons: Beyond the basic salary, there isn't much. The health insurance isn't great, and there are no performance bonuses or stock options, which you might find in other HR tech industry roles. It makes it hard to feel really valued over time.
Advice to Management: Revisit the benefits package, especially health insurance and consider adding performance-based incentives for employees in roles like Data Analyst. It would help with retention in the competitive HR tech industry.
