Solid Company, But Not Much Room to Move Up

Pros: Job security is a real plus here, which is great in the aviation industry. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you get solid hands-on experience and the training is pretty good for new procedures. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is generally helpful.
Cons: Career progression is super slow for technical roles. It feels like you're stuck as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a long time without clear paths to senior positions. There isn't much focus on internal promotions or development programs for career growth at this mid-sized company.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career paths and invest in leadership development for technical staff. It would help retain talent if there were more opportunities for internal promotion. Show more
