Company Reviews

From a humble beginning as a small moving company established in 1996, Intermovers quickly expanded due to the vast knowledge and experience of its founders in the moving industry, along with a small but dedicated team of employees. In 2003 Intermovers was selected and offered to be part of a network. Keen to expand further, Intermovers took the opportunity to become shareholders of the Harmony Relocation Network. With over 140 offices serving 180 countries across the 6 continents, we provide a single-source supply of services to meet any global corporate assignment management’s requirements.

In line with its continued expansion, Intermovers received a number of high standard industry accreditations i.e. FIDI FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) certification after successfully completing the FAIM compliance procedure conducted by Ernst & Young, and became a FIDI Affiliate and Det Norske Veritas Management System Certificate ISO 9001:2015 certified by DNV Certification B.V., The Netherlands. As members of FIDI and ISO 9001:2015 certified, we adhere to a strict Code of Corporate Conduct on Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Health & Safety standards.

To date, Intermovers has grown to be one of the most successful locally owned moving company in Malaysia, having gained worldwide recognition in the moving industry through its dedication to upholding the highest quality standards and personalised services.

Decent for a Logistics Firm, but watch out
Pros: The regular office hours are mostly good for an Operations Coordinator. Weekends are generally free, which is nice for family time. They're a solid moving and storage company.
Cons: Sometimes you're stuck doing overtime, especially during peak season for relocation services. It's tough to plan ahead when things get crazy. The onsite work environment means less flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage peak season workloads to avoid burnout. More consistent staffing would really help the team.
