Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Your Team

Pros: The company does offer a hybrid model which is a big help, letting us work remotely a few days a week. As a Junior Developer, having that WFH option really cuts down on the Kuala Lumpur commute and makes personal appointments easier to manage.
Cons: The 'flexibility' really varies team to team; some managers are super strict about onsite days, even when project deadlines allow for remote work. It's not as consistent as it could be across the whole software development department.
Advice to Management: Standardize the work flexibility policies more across all teams. It would help a lot if the hybrid model was consistently applied and not just at a manager's discretion, especially for all roles, including junior developer positions. Show more
