Pros: I learned a lot working on cool computer vision projects. You get a lot of autonomy as a Software Engineer. The tech stack is interesting, especially if you're into SLAM technology.
Cons: Career progression feels unclear, almost non-existent for individual contributors. It's a small tech startup so there aren't many places to go. I didn't see much upward movement during my time.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career development paths for individual contributors. Help engineers see how they can grow within the company.
