Pros: I did learn a lot about site management and handling contractors on various construction projects. The team at the Kuala Lumpur office was mostly supportive, which helped get through the tough days.
Cons: Leadership here is pretty hands-off and often out of touch. It's hard to get decisions made quickly, which really slows down project progress. There's not much room for career growth if you're not in their inner circle.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be more present and involved in day-to-day operations. Listen to your Project Engineers; they're the ones on the ground, dealing with real issues on construction sites. Improve decision-making processes.
