Decent work-life balance for project roles

Pros: You can usually log off around 6 PM most days, which is pretty solid. There's some flexibility if you need to take an hour or two for appointments, especially when managing system integration projects. It's not a constant grind like some other corporate places in Kuala Lumpur.
Cons: Sometimes, big IT solution deployments mean you're working late nights to hit deadlines. It can be tough to fully disconnect on weekends too; some clients expect quick responses. Remote work options aren't super flexible here, it's mostly onsite.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for client expectations outside of regular business hours, especially for Project Manager roles. More flexible hybrid work options would really help improve morale and overall work-life satisfaction. Show more
