“DW PLANNERS is a local urban and regional planning consultancy based in Sabah with the aim to practice approachable planning for all. In 2014, Duncan H.Z Wong resigned from his position as a town planner in a town planning consultancy based in Kota Kinabalu and decided to give more attention and assistance to the sub-urban community and rural district authorities in terms of town and country planning services.

Since then, DW PLANNERS has been established to support the administrating local authority ranging from urban to rural areas through the planning services offered. Until today, it is still a great struggle amongst the town planners to make the planning industry in Sabah more approachable regardless of the huge gap in the social class. Nonetheless, the consultancy strives to achieve this by collaborating closely with other professionals and non-government organizations through a more sustainable practice of planning policies and regulations."
