Solid job, but career growth is a real grind
I've been here for a bit in their medical device manufacturing division. It's a steady job, but don't expect rapid promotions. It's tough to see a clear path forward as a Production Supervisor.
Job security is good, especially in the medical supplies and PPE production industry. The team's generally decent to work with in the Shah Alam, Selangor office. Pay and benefits are okay for manufacturing roles.
Career growth is painfully slow. There isn't much opportunity to move up, even for experienced staff. Training for advancement feels non-existent; you're mostly just doing your current job.
Management should focus on creating clear career development plans. Give employees, especially Production Supervisors, more chances for upskilling and internal promotions. It would boost morale a lot.
