Memiontec is a water treatment company with more than 20 years of experience in the field of water and wastewater management services, as well as a presence in Singapore, Indonesia and the PRC. We primarily use membrane, ion exchange, physical, chemical and biological processes and leverage our in-house fabrication and assembly capabilities to design and produce reliable, compact, cost-effective, innovative and space efficient water and wastewater treatment solutions. In 2016, our Group participated in our first transfer-own-operate-transfer (TOOT) project through a joint operation arrangement with a Jakarta government-owned company, PT JUP. Through our subsidiary PT Memiontec Indonesia (PTMI), we took over, retrofitted and upgraded an existing water treatment plant located in Waduk Pluit, Jakarta. Within the same year and also through PTMI, we embarked on our first build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) project in a joint venture with PT JUP to develop and manage a bulk drinking water production unit at Hutan Kota, Jakarta, Indonesia. Our Group has since completed the construction of the water treatment plant before handing the project over in August 2019.
