Pros: As a Junior Consultant, the initial salary was actually decent for a corporate role in Kuala Lumpur. It helped me get my foot in the door in management consulting right out of university.
Cons: Raises are pretty small and don't keep up with inflation, even after a year or two. The health benefits are just basic, and there aren't many other perks compared to some other advisory firms.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into more competitive compensation packages, especially for experienced consultants. Better health coverage and maybe some performance bonuses would help retention.
