Solid Job Security for Engineering Roles Here
Pros: I felt pretty secure in my role as a Project Engineer. The company rarely does layoffs, which is good. There's always plenty of construction projects going on in the Kuala Lumpur office, so work feels stable for engineering professionals.
Cons: While job security is decent, career growth is slow. You don't see many promotions. Pay isn't the best compared to other mid-sized corporate firms in the industry either. Onsite work is the norm, so flexibility is low.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the salary scales to be more competitive within the engineering industry. Also, creating clearer paths for career growth would really help employee retention and morale.

Culture is okay, but prepare for the grind
Pros: As an Electrical Engineer here, I've found my colleagues in the Kuala Lumpur office to be genuinely helpful. There's a decent team spirit; people really support each other, which is crucial in a busy engineering firm.
Cons: The biggest issue is the work-life balance. We often work long hours, and frankly, there isn't much work flexibility if you need to WFH. Sometimes leadership can be a bit micromanaging, which can be frustrating.
