Flexibility is improving, but still tough

Pros: After audit peak seasons, there's a bit more understanding for occasional WFH. For some 'junior auditor' roles, if your client work is managed well, you can sometimes adjust your hours slightly. It's a traditional 'professional services firm', so any movement towards flexibility is a positive.
Cons: Real 'work flexibility' is hard to come by, especially during big 'audit engagements' or near 'client deadlines'. Most days you're expected 'onsite' in the 'Kuala Lumpur' office, which isn't great for personal errands. The hybrid model is more of a suggestion than a reliable option.
Advice to Management: Try to implement more structured hybrid options that aren't just 'when things are slow'. It would really help with employee morale and reduce burnout during busy periods, especially for those handling multiple client accounts. Show more
