About this opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift & DevOps Platform Lead to drive the design, implementation, automation, and support of enterprise container platforms built on Red Hat OpenShift. You will play a key role in managing OpenShift environments, enabling DevOps adoption, improving platform reliability, and delivering scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions for business-critical applications.
What you will do:
- Design, deploy, administer, and upgrade Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.16+) clusters.
- Manage and support Kubernetes/OpenShift platform components, including networking, storage, operators, and workloads.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD and enable automated application deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
- Troubleshoot complex platform, cluster, container, and application issues.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and platform scalability.
- Lead critical incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and platform reliability improvements.
- Implement security controls, RBAC, patching, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
- Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and OpenShift monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, storage, and cloud teams to ensure seamless platform operations.
The skills you bring:
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.16+) and Kubernetes administration.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and platform operations.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD.
- Strong knowledge of Docker/Podman and containerized application environments.
- Hands-on experience managing OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA skills.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK.
- Exposure to OpenShift deployments on VMware, AWS, Azure, OCI, or Bare Metal environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
