Leadership Can Be Hit or Miss
Pros: I've had some really supportive project managers. They make client engagements much smoother. Core teams are often very knowledgeable in banking software, which helps troubleshooting complex fintech solutions. Pay is decent for a corporate company of this size.
Cons: Upper management often lacks clear direction. This leads to a lot of shifting priorities for us as Implementation Consultants. Communication can be a big issue from the top. It's tough to get clear career growth paths when leadership isn't aligned.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication from the top. Give teams consistent direction to avoid constant reprioritization. Invest in leadership training for middle managers too.

Pretty Good Flexibility for Remote Devs
Pros: It's really nice being able to work remote as a Software Engineer here. I can manage my own schedule well, which is great for personal appointments. For the fintech industry, they offer solid work-from-home options, so you're not always chained to a desk.
Cons: The biggest downside is coordinating with global teams. You'll often have super early or late calls to match different time zones, which can mess with your work-life balance. It's not perfect work flexibility if you're constantly adjusting your entire day for meetings.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into tools or policies to reduce the strain of global time zone meetings on remote employees. It's tough trying to balance personal life with late-night calls.

Pay is Okay, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer in the Bangalore office is pretty competitive, especially for someone with a few years of experience. We do get decent health insurance benefits which is a big plus here.
Cons: Annual raises are usually pretty small, so don't expect huge bumps year over year. The bonus structure isn't very transparent, and it's generally quite low compared to other companies in the financial software industry.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent with bonus calculations and review the annual raise structure to stay competitive with other fintech companies.
