Pros: It's a solid place to learn the basics of digital advertising and ad tech. You get hands-on experience with different programmatic platforms. Good for new grads in the Chicago office.
Cons: There's no clear path for career growth as a Programmatic Trader, which is frustrating. Promotions are rare for ICs; management roles are limited. Don't expect a lot of internal training for skill development beyond the day-to-day.
Advice to Management: Management should really think about creating clearer career paths for individual contributors. Invest in more training and mentorship programs for existing staff.
