Fixed Schedule, Not Much Flexibility
Pros: The good thing is, as an Assembly Line Technician, you always know your schedule. It's a stable routine, which can be nice for planning personal stuff around your shifts in automotive manufacturing.
Cons: Work flexibility here is pretty tough, especially for production roles. There's no real WFH or hybrid option for plant employees. It's strictly onsite, a very traditional corporate setup in Santa Rosa.
Advice to Management: I think management could explore ways to offer even small bits of flexibility, maybe for some non-production roles, or review shift swap policies to make them easier for factory workers.
