Pros: You usually get your weekends, which is good. For Project Engineer roles, the project deadlines can be tough, but it's not constant crunch time. The WFH options really help a lot sometimes.
Cons: There's definitely an expectation to check emails after hours, especially when we're close to a big push for a solar farm or wind project. It's not a 40-hour week every time, more like 45-50 hours often.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for after-hours communication. It would help a lot with employee burnout.
