Software Engineer

Good place to learn and grow remotely
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer. The team is incredibly supportive, offering great learning opportunities in modern tech stacks. Being a remote-first company provides excellent work flexibility, which significantly helps my work-life balance. It's a stable environment where you can develop skills.
Cons: Internal communication between departments can sometimes be slow, causing minor project delays. While there are growth opportunities, the promotion process can feel a bit less transparent for career development.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving cross-departmental communication workflows and provide clearer guidelines for career progression and promotions to help employees better plan their career development within the company.

Okay pay, could be better for the workload
Pros: The benefits package here is pretty solid. We've got decent health insurance and a 401k match, which is good for a marketing agency of this size. The hybrid work model also helps cut down on commuting costs in Austin, TX.
Cons: Pay for a Junior Marketing Specialist feels under market. My $55k base salary isn't really cutting it for the cost of living here. Plus, there isn't much transparency on raises for those of us in entry-level marketing roles.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at the compensation for early-career marketing roles. You're losing good talent because the pay isn't competitive, especially for the Austin, TX market. More transparency on salary bands and raise structures would really help employee morale.

Career Growth is Slow for Account Executives
Pros: You can learn a lot about the marketing services industry. I got good experience in client management here. If you're proactive, you can take on extra projects in the Chicago office.
Cons: Career growth is really slow as an Account Executive. There aren't clear paths for promotion, which is frustrating for sales roles. Many people get stuck at the same level for years.
Advice to Management: Please create clearer promotion guidelines. It would help a lot with retention for Account Executives.

Decent place, but pay could be better
Pros: The team here is super collaborative; everyone's pretty supportive. The office environment in Austin, TX is modern and comfortable. We get decent PTO, which is good.
Cons: The pay for Junior Software Engineer roles isn't super competitive, honestly. I've seen better total compensation in other mid-sized tech companies. Health benefits are just okay, nothing special, for the tech industry.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at market rates for Junior Software Engineer salaries in Austin, TX. Better pay and benefits would help a lot with retention.

Culture is okay, but it's changing fast
Pros: I've met some really good people here. The team atmosphere, especially among us Account Managers, is supportive, which helps a lot with tough client campaigns. They do offer solid benefits too.
Cons: There's been a lot of turnover lately, which makes the hybrid model feel a bit unstable. It's hard to build consistent routines when faces are always changing, and it impacts project continuity. The company culture is taking a hit with all the departures.
Advice to Management: Try to stabilize the team and communicate strategic changes more clearly. Invest in retention efforts for your core talent.
