Leadership is okay, but needs more vision
Pros: You get solid experience in renewable energy projects, which is great for career growth in this field. I learned a ton about photovoltaic (PV) installations while working in the Manila office. The team camaraderie is also pretty good among colleagues.
Cons: Leadership often struggles with clear communication on long-term goals. For project roles like mine, it felt like priorities shifted too often. There's not always a strong strategic vision, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate a clearer, consistent vision for the company's future. More direct and transparent leadership would help teams stay focused and motivated, especially for those managing complex solar energy projects.

Leadership at Solar Philippines is a mixed bag
Pros: My direct manager was usually pretty supportive, which made daily tasks manageable. Team collaboration was decent for a project coordinator role. You really learn a lot about the solar energy industry here.
Cons: Upper management often felt super disconnected from daily operations, especially for those doing onsite work. Decisions came down without much context, making things tough for project teams. There's not enough transparency from the top.
Advice to Management: Be more visible and transparent with your decisions. Connect with the teams on the ground more often to understand the real challenges.

Good experience for solar, but slow career growth
Pros: As a Solar Project Engineer, you'll get tons of hands-on experience with diverse photovoltaic (PV) installations. It's solid for learning the solar energy business, especially in the Manila office. Great for building your resume in renewable energy.
Cons: Career progression for engineering roles here feels pretty undefined. There aren't many clear promotion pathways, so it's tough to move up. You might hit a ceiling fast if you're looking for quick career growth.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career paths and offer more internal training for skill development. Recognize and reward employees who want to move up within the solar energy industry.
