Pros: We had some pretty solid projects for a while, especially for us Software Engineers. The work was consistent, and the tech industry here in Singapore felt booming. Management used to talk about long-term goals, which was reassuring.
Cons: Lately, job security has been a real concern. There's been a lot of talk about budget cuts, and a few junior developers got laid off. It's hard to feel secure when you hear that kind of news in a mid-sized tech company.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about the company's financial health and future plans. It would help a lot with employee morale and reduce anxiety about potential layoffs.
